Leadership Day 1 and 2

It's the end of day 2 in San Antonio, Texas. I'm away at Stampin' Up! 2012 Leadership convention and I'm having a fabulous time.
I looked forward to this trip for many days and it didn't matter that we had to get up at 4 am to leave for our flight. I was too excited to sleep anyway. Natasha picked me up and 445 am and we headed for the Toronto airport. It was a foggy, rainy, miserable morning and the drive to the airport was a little stressful but we made it. We were very short on time and almost missed our flight but we smiled pretty and they let us on.
It turns out that maybe the next flight would have been better. We had a very turbulant flight and a rough landing. We are pretty sure it was the pilot's first flight. However, we are still smiling and now we are in Houston, Texas. Strangely noone has a Texas accent at the airport and apparently they lost their smiles with their accents. Not a friendly bunch at the airport! Now we have to wait 8 hours for our next plane to San Antonio so it's time to settle in for some Stampin' time.
You will notice in the photo that I had a little stow away in my luggage.
Yes, craftDbear is attending her first leadership.
Our next flight to San Antonio was fast, smooth and delightful.
My friend, Catherine Sanders was on the same flight and she is staying at the Hilton as well. Catherine and I orginally met on the Stampin' Up! cruise to Alaska. It was so nice to see her again and we shared a taxi to the Hilton. Woohoo!!! This is a photo of us on arrival at the Hilton.
The Hilton is gorgeous. Natasha and I had a some fun exploring our home away from home.
Day 2
Look at the sweet bag and fabric organizer we received this morning.
The fun continues as we start our Make 'N' Takes.
I have only just started showing you pictures from the second day but I have to go for a quick nap. I need to be awake in 4 hours for Day 3. So let's say Day 2 is to be continued tomorrow and I will try to catch you up tomorrow. Good night all!
