Happy New Year Journal Jar

                                                               My 2014 Journal Jar

Last week on Facebook someone (I'm sorry I can't remember who) posted
this idea to have a jar where you write good things that happen to you on little
pieces of paper.
I am looking forward to a great year and now I can't believe that I'm looking forward
to Dec 31, 2014 when I open my jar  and read the quotes.
I decided to use a small jar because I might want to make a couple of different jars
over the year.
I am usually slow to wake up but the first thing Irv said this morning was just
so cute that I couldn't wait to write it down to put in my jar.

Supplies used for my jar:
A small jam jar
133001 Retro Fresh This and That Designer Washi Tape  $6.50
132999 Retro Fresh This and That Designer Stickers  $5.95
132993 Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper  $13.50
129379 Spiral Flower Originals Die  $21.95  (to make the roses on top) $21.95
120995 Silver Glass Glitter $4.95
131297 Coastal Cabana Card Stock $8.50
111349 Tangerine Tango Card Stock $8.50
126839 Summer Starfruit Card Stock $8.50
100730 Whisper White Card Stock $9.25
120906 2 1/2" Circle Punch $22.95
133324 Scalloped Tag Topper Punch $31.95
132140 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon $9.95
104199 Linen Thread $5.95

This may look like a lot of supplies but I really only used a little of each and the cool thing is
that is all coordinates with the Retro Fresh This and That Journal Book that I plan to
use as my journal this year.
It is in the new Occasions catalogue that begins Friday, January 3, 2014.

I have taken a 30 Day Journalling Challenge

This is a page from my Retro Fresh This and That Journal Book.
It is so much fun to play with the Retro Fresh collection.
The colours are Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango and Very vanilla.
