Taste testing for Wedding Reception

We weren't sure what we were in for last
Night, Feb 3, 2016. We knew we were
taste testing in order to decide on a menu
for Laryssa andDevin's Wedding
in June 2017, but we
weren't sure what the chef was making.
Now as I write this, I haven't gotten the brides
permission to say what we have decided on so far.
Yes, so far.
We couldn't taste everything last night.
Just too much food.
I think it is safe for me to show what was absolutely
delicious but didn't make it to the menu.
This was a butternut squash soup.
Very smooth and tasty.
We are expecting warm weather so we opted not
to have soup.
Tomato and mozzarella. I think it has a fancier name
but I can't remember it right now. It was also very
tasty but we aren't serving it at the reception.
This is flourless chocolate cake and ice cream.
Sweet and yummy but just a little too heavy
after all the delicious food.
It's a tough job but we just have to continue
going back to test desserts until we find the right one.
No, no that's ok. I know you are all willing to help but
I wouldn't want to put that burden on anyone.
The six of us have accepted the task and we are committed.
If you would like to go to a very pretty place for dinner,
with very good food then you will find this venue in the town
of New Hamburg. It's called Puddicombe and we definitely
recommend it. It's not just for events. You can have a nice
romantic meal there or a cozy family gathering.
Laryssa and Devin have chosen a beautiful location
for their wedding reception.
Thanks for visiting today!
