What a Day for Canada!!

It appears from all the news reports, that Canada had a great 150th birthday!!  The events in Port Dover were great!!  Well organized, good weather (storm held off until after parade and before evening festivities), great food!  Loads of fun. After the garage sales, soap box derby and boat parade yesterday we attended the street parade. It took one hour and 15 minutes to pass our spot. We walked over to a good spot not far from our house.

Music, pipe bands, groups, businesses, vintage cars, and others gave candy and flags to kids of all ages!!  Even Len’s Mill’s got a big float into it with dancers.

A storm came through about 5.30 and lasted 30 mins then the skies cleared for the evening!  There were fireworks going off all over town around 10.00pm. We positioned ourselves where we could watch the official fireworks at Silver Lake Park. The streets were just jammed with cars and people.

Great day!  And to top it all off Stampin’ Up! Started a new recruiting incentive and my team added three new demonstrators on Saturday alone!  Woohoo!  More on that promo tomorrow. For now it’s going to be a relaxing Sunday.
I hope it is for you too!

🇨🇦🎉Happy Canada Day Weekend Everyone!!!🎉🇨🇦
